We were commissioned to design a corporate font for the METRO Wholesale brand appearance, developed by Serviceplan Campaign Hamburg. Based on the CA Cula font, an independent font family was developed that reflects the corporate design philosophy and functions as a display and text font for posters, price and text labels, point of sale, brochures and other products, as well as the website.
Their new corporate design features the “Angle of Success”, which was used in various graphic elements. In the logo, this angle is represented by the rising yellow area and is now also found in the typeface. Wherever it made sense, stroke endings in the CA Metro typeface are designed at a 16-degree angle to support the corporate design.
