What began as letters held together with tape has evolved into CA 12C13C, a distinctive typeface with a handmade origin and a clear graphic personality. Originally built from taped forms, the font has been refined for digital use while preserving its raw, improvised character.
It comes with uppercase letters only, while the lowercase set includes a few alternative filled characters for added flexibility. With its intentionally limited character set and minimal letter count, CA 12C13C is designed to make a strong visual statement without overwhelming the layout. It is best used for headlines, titles, and other short display settings where its angular, unconventional structure can stand out.
